A CAPA Class Visit to The British Museum

May 2, 2022 11:00:00 AM / by Jazz Ward

Study abroad in London and have class at the British museum! Jazz shows us a compilation of art and statues from different eras and regions that she saw on this field trip.

Today my Islam, Politics, and Britain: A Case Study of London's East class visited the British Museum. We looked at Islamic art from different eras of history and were able to explore the other wings of the museum following our class time. I saw the famed Rosetta Stone, the coffin of Cleopatra, and other famous Greek and Roman statues. One of my favorite parts of studying abroad is the field study trips we can take as classes to further understand the information we learn and discuss in class. The British Museum was so fun to explore and I hope to return soon.
