Carly Lewis (she/her/hers) comes to us from Hollins University with a desire to flesh out her artistic interests this fall in London. She is a Creative Writing and Film double major and will be studying abroad and completing an internship. She is so excited to see what this British city has to offer with its rich culture and artistic environment, and hopes to gain inspiration from her travels for her novel in progress. What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
I think what I am anticipating the most is being able to immerse myself and really live in a different cultural and artistically rich environment. Being a photographer and writer, I constantly look to my surroundings and the people within them for inspiration, and traveling to a new place is exactly the trick for that! Whether it be during the concerts I hope to attend in London or the many local shops I want to explore, the experiences I have will definitely grant me with some amazing stories.
