Caroline Briscoe

Caroline Briscoe (she/her) is a Strategic Communications major with a minor in Business at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is studying abroad in London, United Kingdom this spring 2023. Along with studying and taking classes, Caroline will be interning at Nemi Teas. She is excited about growing both personally and professionally by experiencing a new culture and learning about the incredible history of the United Kingdom. Outside of attending classes, Caroline hopes to spend her time taking long walks around the lively city, getting to know the local people, and checking off bucket-list activities such as visiting Buckingham Palace and kayaking in the Lake District. Why did you choose to study abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I have big aspirations, and in order to reach my full potential, I need to get out of my bubble. I grew up in a big city with a small town feel and further decided to choose a university with a similar nature. Studying abroad guarantees new and diverse people, places, and opportunities. I know that there is so much more out there, but I have to push my boundaries. I am excited to see the world from a new perspective while simultaneously growing personally and professionally.
