Catch Up with CAPA's Official Bloggers & Vloggers for Summer 2018

We’re very excited for you to meet our team of official bloggers and vloggers for summer 2018!

Each of them will receive a grant accompanied by an explorer fund while they are abroad to help them generate their weekly stories here on CAPA World. From their reasons for studying abroad through their reflection upon their return to the States, we will watch the stories of these students unfold as they learn about their host country, explore and discover the real city beyond stereotypes and expectations, interact with locals, focus on their academics and complete internships.

Julia SchroderJULIA SCHRODER, VLOGGER, BARCELONA
Julia is our very first student reporting from our brand new Barcelona location. She is excited to get to know this city's authentic spirit and all its locals. A Political Science and Global Studies major from Arizona State University, she's looking forward to being more spontaneous and more fluent in Spanish. Watch along as Julia gives us creative and incredible cinematic shots of Barcelona!

Nora CallahanNORA CALLAHAN, BLOGGER, BUENOS AIRES
Coming from Northeastern University is International Affairs and Math major Nora Callahan! Nora enjoys distance running and public transport. On her goal list is to improve her Spanish and hike in Patagonia! Look forward to local Argentinian adventures with her.

Rachel HowellRACHEL HOWELL, VLOGGER, DUBLIN
Rachel is ready to see what the work culture is like through her internship in Dublin. A Visual Media student at Auburn University, she wants to showcase her drive focusing on her professional skills and conveying needs into results. She'll take us along to see what the entire study abroad experience is like in Dublin.

Allyson BarnesALLYSON BARNES, BLOGGER, FLORENCE
Blogging from Florence is Allyson Barnes, an Anthropology, Evolutionary Biology and Ecology, and Studio Arts major from University of Colorado - Boulder. Allyson hopes her time abroad will allow her to experience the local culture and traditions better. Her hobbies include painting, which is why she's taking art classes this summer. She hopes to expand her interests and write about fitting in better in Italy.

Hannah HardenberghHANNAH HARDENBERGH, BLOGGER, FLORENCE
An American History and Literature major from Harvard College, Hannah is ready to challenge her understanding of art and describe the sights in Florence both visually and through words. While she might be enjoying some of her hobbies in Florence such as leading an active lifestyle and working on art, she hopes to enjoy the little details and share what's going on in the city.

Alice DingALICE DING, BLOGGER, LONDON
A Computer Science and Marketing major from Northeastern University, Alice chose London as her study abroad location this summer. She's excited to explore her new city and do something different each day. She hopes to interact with people in a classroom and professional setting all in a different part of the world. Look forward to reading about what London has to offer and the study abroad journey!

Trisha SanchezTRISHA SANCHEZ, BLOGGER, SHANGHAI
This study abroad experience will be Trisha's first time in a non-English speaking country! Trisha is an International Business major from Champlain College who enjoys hiking, astronomy, and karaoke. With a minor in Computer Science, she wants to learn at least one programming language in Shanghai. You can join her as she discusses subjects ranging from local cultural etiquette to famous sights and landmarks.

Sydney comes to us as a student-athlete and Marketing and Global Management major from the University of Pittsburgh. She wants to bring her coursework to life as she interns in Sydney and get to know the food, life, animals, and sports in this city. Follow along as she shares helpful things she's learned from studying abroad.

Marianne is thrilled about the opportunity to intern in Sydney. She is a Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance major from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities who likes traveling and cooking. You can expect to see what kind of activities you can do, as well as some general expectations and the realities of Sydney.
