Forget the Doors of Dublin - Check Out Dublin's Electric Boxes

Jul 3, 2019 9:11:11 AM / by Clare Mullin

Maybe you’ve heard of the Doors of Dublin, or noticed that the city is notoriously decorated with walls and walls of beautiful street art. But have you seen the eclectic electric boxes scattered throughout the city? Check out these shots from our Dublin Photoblogger!

When I was walking around Dublin for the first week, I noticed painted electricity boxes all over the city. This movement was started by Dublin Canvas, a public art project, that gathers local artists to help brighten the city as you travel through it. These boxes would normally go unnoticed, but this project allows for artists to show off their art in such a public way. When traveling through Dublin, make sure to look for these vibrant boxes!
