Introducing CAPA's Official Bloggers & Vloggers for Fall 2018

We’re very excited to introduce and welcome our team of official bloggers and vloggers for fall 2018!

Each of them will receive a grant accompanied by an explorer fund while they are abroad to help them generate their weekly stories here on CAPA World. From pre-departure thoughts through their reflection upon their return to the States, we will watch the stories of these students unfold as they learn about their host country, explore and discover the real city beyond stereotypes and expectations, interact with locals, focus on their academics and complete internships.

Maya CrawfordMAYA CRAWFORD, BLOGGER, BARCELONA
A Business Administration major from University of Massachusetts Lowell, Maya will be spending her fall semester in Barcelona. She's excited to explore a new culture and the art in this vibrant city. As someone who loves cooking, she's motivated to learn more about the food world and gain skills from her internship to fulfill her ambition of starting her own business. Look forward to lots of food posts, Barcelona's beautiful scenery, and the city's hidden gems!

Amaia RiosecoAMAIA RIOSECO, VLOGGER, BARCELONA
Hailing from Emerson College is Political Science and Global Studies major Amaia Rioseco! Amaia is most interested in learning as much as she can in classes, exploring Barcelona, and practicing her Spanish. Her hobbies include singing in a choir, taking photos, and and making desserts. She hopes to share her study abroad experience with perspectives on culture from her time in and out of Barcelona.

Jessica KislukJESSICA KISLUK, BLOGGER, DUBLIN
Blogging from Dublin is Jessica Kisluk, a Communication and Media major from SUNY Oswego. Jessica loves going to concerts, playing sports, and Polish folk dance. On her goal list is trying to tackle a new public transportation system, learning about Celtic history, and meeting new people! She's excited to give you a quirky spin on on her time in Dublin.

Casey RhodeCASEY RHODE, BLOGGER, DUBLIN
An Interdisciplinary Studies major from the Arizona State University, Casey is ready to discover what life is like as a student in Ireland. While she dives deeper into the Irish culture and her internship, she hopes to observe and share everything she's learning with all of us so that you can get a glimpse of what it's like to study abroad.

Connor McGloneCONNOR MCGLONE, BLOGGER, FLORENCE
Connor is excited to take in the history of Florence! A Marketing and Supply Chain Management major from University of Pittsburgh, he's looking forward to visiting different museums, making professional connections, and traveling around Florence. Get ready to sightsee with him on his study abroad journey!

Payton MeyerPAYTON MEYER, BLOGGER, FLORENCE
This is the first time that Payton from University of Colorado Boulder will ever visit Europe. She wants to get into travel writing and blogging, and hopes to apply the skills from her travel writing class professionally. See Florence through her eyes as she shares her everyday life, tries something new every day, and goes on spontaneous adventures around the city.

Genevieve RiceGENEVIEVE RICE, BLOGGER, LONDON
An English Literature major from Anderson University, Genevieve is ready to grow her understanding of Western Europe. While she might be enjoying some of her hobbies in London such reading and learning about the lives of her favorite authors, she wants to understand the uniqueness of the city's multicultural identity, uncover the appeal and what makes each place special, and writing in a way that will make you feel like you are there yourself!

Maisie HaneyMAISIE HANEY, BLOGGER, LONDON
Maisie is ready to crank up her love for music as she heads to London. An art history student at Rollins College, she is excited to learn more about punk music and the different artistic styles in the city. She's plans on attending concerts, being in her element, and showing a different side of her study abroad experience.

Christopher comes to us as an Accounting major from Siena College. He wants to embrace new personal growth in London and expand what he knows about reviewing and processing transactions. From new day-to-day experiences to try and lessons from his study abroad and internship journey, he'll cover what it's like experience a completely different culture.

Ellen AndersonELLEN ANDERSON, VLOGGER, LONDON
You'll be seeing more of Ellen this fall as she gets ready to discover the quirks and charm of London! Ellen is a Child Psychology major from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities who wants to foster her love for children and mental health by understanding its importance in different parts of the world. You can expect to join her as she learns more about London by doing everything that's available in the city!

Rachel EppRACHEL EPP, VLOGGER, SHANGHAI
Rachel is ready to improve herself as an aspiring businesswoman and study abroad student Shanghai. A Global Business major at Cedarville University, she is excited to learn Mandarin, eat authentic Chinese food, and level up her business skills globally. She's going to try to capture the cultural diversity in this global city through creative topics.

Daniel PowellDANIEL POWELL, VLOGGER, SHANGHAI
As an International Relations and Applied Economics major from Ursinus College, Daniel wants to be a Foreign Service Officer someday. He's excited to interact with people who live in Shanghai, understand the cultural nuances, and progress as a global citizen. He wants to learn about how international organizations work and making friends in this megacity. Look forward to watching Daniel's experiences with culture, economics, and different settings in Shanghai!

Lorenzo is a Global Studies major from the Arizona State University. From his international background to his internship experience, expect to see Lorenzo make the best of every opportunity in Sydney.

Martyn MegaloudisMARTYN MEGALOUDIS, BLOGGER, SYDNEY

As a Marketing major from University of Pittsburgh, he hopes to take away a greater sense of independence from his internship experience.
