We’re very excited to introduce and welcome our team of official bloggers and vloggers for summer 2017!
Each of them will receive a grant accompanied by an explorer fund while they are abroad to help them generate their weekly stories here on CAPA World. From pre-departure thoughts through their reflection upon their return to the States, we will watch the stories of these students unfold as they learn about their host country, explore and discover the real city beyond stereotypes and expectations, interact with locals, focus on their academics and complete internships.
So who are they and where are they going?
SARA ROUNTREE, BLOGGER, BUENOS AIRES
Hailing from Simmons College, Sara is a Sociology Major and Public Health Minor who will be spending her summer in Buenos Aires! While abroad, she's excited to explore the Argentinian healthcare system and connect what she sees to what she's learned about health in the US. She hopes to attend fun events like polo matches and salsa dancing, and see plenty of historical monuments around the city.
Look for Sara’s posts on CAPA World every Friday starting June 9 and read more about her on her official CAPA blogger profile where the archives will be compiled.
CAT GLORIA, BLOGGER, DUBLIN
A major in Journalism from the University of Florida, Cat will be spending the summer of 2017 in Dublin! Cat loves writing, eating, and dancing (she's even classically trained and enjoys hip-hop). This will be Cat's first time being in another country so she's interested to see how she will adapt to life as an American living in Ireland. Cat will take us along on her foodie journeys as she reviews the new things she tries. She hopes to explore local entertainment, architecture, and culture as she discovers what it's like to live abroad!
Look for Cat’s posts on CAPA World every Monday starting May 29 and read more about her on her official CAPA blogger profile where the archives will be compiled.
MADELINE MESSINA, BLOGGER, DUBLIN
Also blogging from Dublin is Madeline, an advertising major and French minor from the University of Florida who originally hails from Ohio. Since she already studies in a different part of the country than where she grew up, she's especially looking forward to seeing what differences there are between the US and Ireland. Madeline really hopes to capture the spirit of everyday Irish people, culture, and activities that go beyond typical tourist spots.
Look for Madeline’s posts on CAPA World every Wednesday starting May 24 and read more about her on her official CAPA vlogger profile where the archives will be compiled.

Also blogging from London later this summer will be Maita, a Kinesiology major from the University of Minnesota. Maita knows that London differs a lot from Minnesota, so she's interested to see how she can bring her expeirences back home with her after study abroad. She's ready to try all the foods of London including unusual, quirky restaurants or holes in the wall that get overlooked and more importantly: is on a quest to find the best coffee the United Kingdom has to offer. Get ready for lots of helpful tricks and tips!

CORISSA WURTH, VLOGGER, LONDON
Corissa is heading to London this summer, and she couldn't be more excited. She's a Psychology major studying at the University of Minnesota, with an extreme interest in education. As she explores London's architecture and city life, she also wants to make time to take in the nature and green spaces of the city. A bit different from a typical study abroad expeirence, Corissa has opted to live with a host family, and wants to share her experience of daily life living with them compared to her family at home.
Look for Corissa's posts on CAPA World every Friday starting July 7 and read more about her on her official CAPA vlogger profile where the archives will be compiled.

For her help, the American Legion Post 117 out of Palm Bay, Florida gave her a mini folded up American Flag, so plans to take pictures of the flag in different spots all over Australia.
