Happy first day of Pride Month! For a second year in a row, we are proud to be marching in the 2019 Boston Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
Join us as we celebrate diversity and the LGBTQIA community in our global city of Boston. As part of our ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion, CAPA The Global Education Network is sponsoring a Pride Parade Float and invites YOU – our partners, alumni, friends, and staff – to march alongside as we celebrate Love Beyond Borders and highlight on Pride Around the World!
FUN FACT: CAPA took home the “Best Float Award” at the 2018 Boston Pride Parade, and we are determined to repeat it!
How Do I Register?
It is completely FREE for you to attend this! We only ask that you register here, that way we can keep track and notify you of any updates.
Also...the first 50 participants to register will receive a free Pride-themed CAPA t-shirt!
Where Can I Find You on Saturday?
Parade setup is at Boylston St. between Dartmouth St. & Hereford St. More details on the exact location of CAPA’s Float will be shared as we approach the Parade. If you are marching with CAPA, please plan on being at the venue no later than 11:00am. There will be parade volunteers all along the route should you need help locating our float, and they’ll just need the name of the company to help direct you to the assembly point.
How Else Can I Help?
To further support our LGBTQIA students, CAPA has donated $500 to the FEA Rainbow Scholarship. We encourage you to learn more about this game-changing award and embrace the spirit of the weekend by donating here.
We hope to see you there!
