What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
I’m so thrilled to discover London and to visit the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Museum of Brands, University of London, etc. as a part of my classes! I’m also looking forward to learning more about global business and marketing!
What are three of your hobbies and interests?
I love singing, playing instruments, and taking photographs! You can visit my Instagram to see how much I love photography and traveling. Other than that, I also love trying new food and meeting new people!
What’s one personal goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
I hope to learn how to enjoy being independent and mature. I also hope to build new connections with people in London.
What’s one professional goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
As a part of the CAPA London program, I hope to gain new skills during my internship as well as learn and apply my marketing and advertising knowledge to my future professional endeavors.
What can we look forward to seeing in your blogs?
I would love to share different stories under the scope of an international student’s experience such as, “what does it look like to study abroad as an international student” (to clarify, I’m an international student from Vietnam, studying abroad in the U.S., and now London! *How cool is this!*). You will also definitely see some videos where I share my honest experience, reflect on cultural differences, and visit some beautiful places in London. I'll also keep you updated on my classes and internship!
Anything else you’d like to say to people reading about you for the first time?
My experiences are just my experiences, and you may have different or even better experiences in London, so don’t take mine so seriously! However, I’m so excited for you to watch the upside of my experience and also learn from the downside of mine! Enjoy, and thank you for reading/watching my journey!
