What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
I am most excited to experience a different culture other than my own for who I have a lot in common with! Dublin is known as Europe’s Silicon Valley; I am interested how innovative they are and advancements they have made in Forensics.
What are three of your hobbies and interests?
I have a lot of hobbies and interests but my top three are crochet, reading, and visiting breweries and distilleries. Another major interest I have is trying new foods from different cultures.
What’s one personal goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
A personal goal for me is to learn about Irish people and their culture, while learning to grow as person.
What’s one professional goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
During my internship I hope to gain insight into the Irish criminal system and learn how being part of the EU governs how crimes are processed.
What can we look forward to seeing in your blogs?
In my posts you can look forward to hearing about the pandemic are impacting everyday Irish citizens and my internship. I also hope to explore Irish pub food and the history behind the food.
Anything else you’d like to say to people reading about you for the first time?
I will try to explore Ireland as much the pandemic will allow me to and I look forward to sharing my experiences with those who are reading my blog!
