What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
I am most excited to experience a culture different from mine. I hope to encounter other ways of life, hear people’s stories, and learn more about myself.
What are three of your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy spending time with my dogs, telling stories, and indulging in good food.
What’s one personal goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
I want to push myself out of my comfort zone. I want to make choices on my terms to make the most out of my study abroad experience.
What’s one professional goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
Being a business student, I want to learn how to act professionally with other cultures. I believe that experience can help me in my future endeavors specifically as a human resources major. I hope to experience diversity firsthand and bring my new knowledge back to the US with me.
What can we look forward to reading about in your posts?
People often describe me as very talkative and state that I tell every story in great detail. I hope to provide the same amount of detail and content in each of my blog posts, so one can picture they are in Barcelona with me.
Anything else you’d like to say to people reading about you for the first time?
I am very much an extrovert and love talking to new people. I can’t wait to take this skill into a new environment like Barcelona and to be able to share my experiences with readers!
