What are you most excited for during your study abroad summer?
I am most excited to meet new people and live in a big city again. I've heard that my original home city was heavily influenced by London so I'm very excited to experience the similarities and differences.

What are three of your hobbies and interests?
Food/nutrition (I'm a nutrition major), travel and fashion.

What’s one personal goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
I hope to take the time to immerse myself into the culture, meet locals, and learn things outside of my career field. In the past, I've focused so much on gaining experiences within the field. I'd like to take this opportunity to grow myself in aspects outside of education and career.

What’s one professional goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
I hope to build professional relationships abroad to open up my career options in the future. I have an interest to work in the nutrition field at a global level. An internship abroad is a great opportunity for me.

What can we look forward to reading about in your blog posts?
I will definitely be blogging about the different foods I'll be trying in this global city. Also, as a nutrition major/public health minor, I may blog about field related matters.

Anything else you’d like to say to people reading along for the first time?
For someone reading along for the first time, it might be interesting to know where my blogging perspectives come from. I moved to the US about only one year ago to complete a combined Bachelors/Masters degree program in Buffalo, NY. I completed most of my education in Canada but am originally from Hong Kong. Buffalo, NY is the smallest city I've ever had to live in so I'm extremely excited about the city life again.
