What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
During my study abroad semester, I'm most excited about my internship. It's amazing to have the opportunity to increase my skills as a journalism major while being surrounded by and learning about a different culture.
What are three of your hobbies and interests?
Three of my hobbies are writing, singing and reading. I enjoy being around nature and exploring new places and meeting new people. In my free time you'll usually find me browsing local areas or sitting cozy on the couch reading a good novel.
What’s one personal goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
One personal goal I hope to achieve abroad is to truly engage myself in the culture London has to offer. I want to explore different places and get a sense of how people live.
What’s one professional goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
One professional goal I hope to achieve abroad is to increase my skill set as a journalist. This is my first internship outside of my school and a great opportunity to expand my skills in a more professional environment.
What can we look forward to reading about in your posts?
In my posts, look forward to my perspective on living and interning in London. I hope to bring a unique and vibrant perceptive on London's culture and inspire others to travel.
Anything else you’d like to say to people watching for the first time?
For those reading for the first time, I encourage you to travel. As the cliche goes, "the sky's the limit" and there are so many ways to grow and learn in this world.
