What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
Emma: I am most excited about learning more about British culture and the perspective that British people have of the world.

Kailey: I’m excited for my internship, to explore London, to try new things, and to live in a flat (as opposed to a dorm).

What are three of your hobbies and interests?
Emma: I do lot of reading, community service and jewelry making (although that one has been slacking).

Kailey: I love photography, playing guitar, and making dad jokes.

What’s one personal goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
Emma: To try everything (at least once)!

Kailey: I want to get more comfortable with stepping outside of my comfort zone (which isn’t very big right now), be it by talking to new people or trying new things.

What’s one professional goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
Emma: I want to better my communication skills so that I can further my leadership potential.

Kailey: The generic answer: to improve my communication skills. The answer specific to my career goals: to film/photograph stuff every week.

What can we look forward to seeing in your videos?
Emma: I want our posts to be honest and fun; so people who read and watch get the full picture of what London and the study abroad experience is about.

Kailey: From seeing what it’s like to study abroad with CAPA to exploring London and its culture, our posts will (hopefully) tell you everything you need to know about studying abroad.

Anything else you’d like to say to people reading for the first time?
Emma: Welcome! Kailey and I have been friends since our freshman year and I’ve already been in a few of Kailey’s early films. Kailey is the master behind the camera and I’m the girl who doesn’t mind being in front of it. I can’t wait to show you what we have come up with and I hope we do London justice.

Kailey: Hi! Emma and I have been friends since week one of college and we hope to make some dope vlogs for you. I hate being in front of the camera but love being behind it, and Emma doesn’t mind being on camera but has the personality of someone who loves it. I’m excited to share the study abroad experience in the best way I know how, and hopefully you’ll learn some valuable information while still being entertained.
