What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
I’m excited to get out of my comfort zone, eat delicious food, and be immersed in a new culture.

What are three of your hobbies and interests?
I like watching anime and TV shows on Netflix. I like building robots, sets for plays and models of buildings and vehicles. Lastly I love listening to all types of music.

What’s one personal goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
I want to learn the languages and dialects of China (Mandarin, Shanghainese, and Cantonese), including how they were developed. 

What’s one professional goal you hope to achieve while abroad?
I want to network and meet a lot of people within the STEAM fields to teach me about Chinese architecture.

What can we look forward to reading in your blogs?
You can look forward to a lot of food and fun learning the similarities and differences within the country.

Anything else you’d like to say to people reading for the first time?
I hope that my blog gives you a different perspective of Shanghai; and, I hope you enjoy the upcoming experiences through my lens.
