I’m sitting outside waiting for a bus back to my house in Oswego, New York. I can only hear the  buzzing of the outdoor lights that are already shining at 4:30pm. I’m bundled up in my fuzzy  scarf, but I know my nose is turning a dull red. Students quietly p ass lugging their backpacks  with them. Campus is quiet, I am quiet. The cloudy sky makes me smirk.

At the touch of a raindrop,  I know where I would rather be.
