Throughout June, we continue to celebrate Pride month and the LGBTQ+ community, and share resources on how we can help the community as allies throughout the rest of the year. We also provide some history on LGBTQ+ rights around the world and offer resources to support LGBTQ+ students looking to study abroad.

CAPA student Kevin Delaney answers some of the frequently asked questions he gets about studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland. He debunks several misconceptions and chats about how safe the city is. Find out more!

We're celebrating Pride Month by highlighting a list of helpful guides for LGBTQ+ students heading abroad and sharing experiences from CAPA students who have explored their identities while studying abroad.

In the first installment of our Custom Program Blog Series, we share the history of CAPA custom programs and how they are compatible with academics, internships, and student experiences in our global cities locations abroad.

We’re very excited to introduce and welcome our team of official bloggers, vloggers, and TikTokers for summer 2022!

Each student will receive a grant accompanied by an explorer fund while they are abroad to help them generate their stories here on CAPA World. From pre-departure thoughts through their reflection upon their return home, we will watch the stories of these students unfold as they learn about their host country, explore and discover the real city beyond stereotypes and expectations, interact with locals, focus on their academics, and complete internships.

What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
During my semester in Dublin, I am most excited to experience a different way of life. I will be able to try new foods, experience the ability to walk everywhere, and enjoy customs that I have not experienced.

What are you most excited for during your study abroad semester?
I’m excited to explore Ireland, both past and present. As a history major, I can’t wait to tour the countless historic sites and museums in and around Dublin. I’m also really looking forward to experiencing modern Irish culture through my internship and life in a dynamic global city.
